🌟 Welcome to Restoration of Hope, Inc.

A Message from Our Founder

Dr. Shirlkeymu L. Winston, Founder and Executive Director of Restoration of Hope, Inc., established this Christian-based nonprofit in 2017 with a vision to transform the lives of minority youth through education, cultural enrichment, and spiritual development. As a passionate educator and community leader, Dr. Winston designed the signature R³ module—Realization, Repentance, and Restoration—as a framework to help young people discover their purpose, initiate positive change, and restore hope to their families and communities.

🚀 Empowering the Next Generation of Leaders

Founded in 2017, Restoration of Hope, Inc. has been creating life-changing opportunities for youth for over seven years. Through immersive programs like our HBCU college tours, African American history retreats, and life-skills workshops, we prepare minority youth to succeed in college, career, and community life. What makes us special? We bring excitement, education, and faith together—empowering students to realize their potential and lead with purpose.

Where Faith Meets Education and Culture

Our nonprofit is built on a powerful and original approach: the R³ module. We believe that when students Realize their life path, Repent from distractions, and Restore their commitment to growth, they become unstoppable. Since 2017, our mentorship programs have reached students across 100+ cities, multiple U.S. states, and Caribbean communities—showing just how far hope can go.

Featured Program: Knowledge Before College (Kb4C)

One of our flagship programs, Knowledge Before College, connects middle and high school students with HBCU mentors and campus life experiences. From guided college tours to etiquette workshops and cultural retreats, this initiative helps students gain the confidence, clarity, and skills to pursue higher education. We don't just expose students to HBCUs—we show them how to thrive there.
